MATT CARBONE, B.S. | Director of Operations

Matt Carbone, B.S.

Director of Operations

Matt has over 10 years of experience working for large, national medical service companies. Matt graduated from the University of South Florida with a business degree. Always focused on patient-centric care, Matt believes that individual patient preferences, needs, and values guide all daily operations decisions. Originally from Connecticut, Matt has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1998 and is an avid Tampa Bay sports fan.

Stachyse Stanis, B.S., B.S.

Lead Patient Relations Specialist

Stachyse is an aspiring physician with two Bachelors of Science degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Cell and Molecular Biology, cum laude, from the University of South Florida (USF). A passionate native of Haiti, she is a lifetime member of Fanm Kreyol, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded at USF, striving to empower Haitian women through community enrichment and civic engagement. She has completed several mission trips to a Haitian orphanage and is actively involved in an organization that develops inclusive economic opportunities for women and girls living with disabilities and another that assists recent graduate students with internships and work opportunities throughout Haiti. Stachyse enjoys music, dancing, travelling, cooking, and spending time with her significant other, family and friends.

Cassandra Wilcoxson, B.S.

Assistant Director of Operations

Cassandra graduated with a Bachelor in Biomedical Science degree from the University of South Florida. She has over 15 years experience in the service and health care industries. She serves our team and our patients by ensuring the smooth operations of all of our vein care centers.

Brian Cupari, MBA

Director of Physician Engagement & Marketing

Brian has over 15 years of marketing and business development experience working for several well known medical organizations in the Tampa Bay area. Brian graduated from the University of Toledo and then earned a Masters in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve. Brian creates awareness of Vein911 and educates physicians and other healthcare professionals on the extraordinary Vein911 patient outcomes and experience. Brian is an avid health and fitness enthusiast and outdoorsman.  Other interests include college football — “Go Buckeyes!”, home improvement, and restoration projects including classic cars.

Bradley Karas, BBA

Controller

Bradley started his career in the home mortgage business and subsequently earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting and International Finance from The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Brad’s work background includes: Forecasting, Budgeting, & Cost Management; Monthly Close Process; Financial Planning & Analysis; Performance & Account Management; Leadership & Staff Development; Policy & Process Optimization; Technology Systems & Integration; Supply Chain & Logistics Management; Quality Control & Regulatory Compliance; and Real Estate Management. Brad is a serious Greenbay Packer’s fan and likes to ride his Peleton in his spare time.

Lee Dragoonis, B.A.

Chief Growth Officer

As Chief Growth Officer, Lee Dragoonis is responsible for accelerating strategic growth and operational initiatives for both Vein911 and the Health Performance Specialists practice network. A recognized leader in health care information technology, Lee has a consistent track record in helping independent practice physicians navigate and understand the impact technology has on both physicians and their patients. Lee is dedicated to always being a step ahead in understanding the importance of evolving technology and its impact on efficiency. Lee was previous Director of Growth at Privia Health, a national medical group composed of over 2,500 providers that helps practices transition from fee-for-service to value-based care. Lee graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Communications. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 young children. They enjoy camping, traveling, going to the beach, boating, and spending time with friends.

Karen Gonzalez Pittman, M.Ed.

Vice-President of Public Affairs

Karen is dedicated to venous disease education and outreach and has actively participated at the Public Education Advisory Committee of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society. She is available to meet or speak with individuals and organizations looking for credible, state-of-the-art information about vein disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Karen is a third-generation Tampa resident and enthusiastic Vein911 patient. Karen is Past President of the Hillsborough County Medical Association Alliance and has served on the Board of Directors of both the Florida Medical Association Alliance and the Florida Medical Association Political Action Committee. Karen is a proud member of the USF Foundation’s Women in Leadership & Philanthropy.

Joy Brinley

Executive Assistant

Joy is a third generation native Floridian. She has worked in medical administration in the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years, having served as Office Manager at two very large medical practices and as Executive Assistant to the Practice Managers. Joy enjoys cooking, day trips in Florida, and sings on the praise team at her church. She has served in volunteer positions with an antique car club and in semi-retirement is pursuing an interest in genealogy. She has worked with Dr. Pittman for over 20 years. .
