Dr. Chris Pittman has 25 years of experience performing minimally invasive, image guided surgery – Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is a formally educated venous disease expert dedicated to the treatment of total body vein disease using minimally invasive, image guided techniques. Dr. Pittman is Board Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, and Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
Dr. Pittman is a proud member of the American College of Phlebology which is the premiere association for physicians working in the field of phlebology in the United States. Dr. Pittman is a contributing author to “Healthy Veins . . . Healthy Legs: A Patient’s Guide to Phlebology”, a 2012 publication of the American College of Phlebology. ANGELA SHEFFIELD, MMSc, P.A.- C

Angela is a Tampa Bay area native who graduated from the University of South Florida, summa cum laude, with a Bachelors of Health Science degree where she was a member of the Arts & Sciences Honors Society and won the University of South Florida Health Sciences Outstanding Student Award (Valedictorian). Angela earned a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, with Highest Honors. Angela has a special interest in cosmetic practice and she brings a conceptual vision to Vein911 understanding both the cosmetic and medical aspect of your vein-improvement journey. Angela loves boating and spending time with her family and friends. Angela is dedicated to the superior care of each and every patient she meets and is thrilled to be a part of the Vein911 team.
AMBER WALLACE LOPER, MMSc, P.A.- C
Vein Care Specialist, Physician Assistant, & Clinical Director
Amber is a “best in class” Tampa vein care specialist. Amber is a Tampa native and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Health Science degree from the University of Florida. She earned a Master of Medical Science degree, summa cum laude, at Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant Program and was also recognized with the Dean’s Award for highest class GPA and induction into both Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants and Alpha Eta Honor Society for Allied Health Professionals. Amber passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam in the 90th percentile and has extensive post-graduate training in dermatology. Amber combines her many years of dermatology experience with her expert knowledge of vein disorders to provide the best possible care & experience to the patients of Vein911.
Henry Fernandez, B.A., RVT, RDMS
Registered Vascular Technologist & Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Henry’s impressive ultrasound career includes earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at Penn State University followed by ultrasound training at the prestigious Newark Beth Israel Hospital where he trained alongside nationally recognized ultrasound technologists and vascular surgeons. He has been a Registered Vascular Technologist since 1992 and a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer since 1994. Henry has provided ultrasound services for several medical specialties including Radiology, Cardiology, Neurology and Vascular Surgery. He has also assisted renowned vascular medicine device companies with ultrasound applications such as Angiodynamics and currently provides clinical education for students of Nova Southeastern University. Henry enjoys working out and salsa dancing.
ABBY MECKLEY, B.S.
Abby is a future medical student refining her patient care experience prior to embarking on her career. She earned a Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Florida, Honors Program. Abby was a nationally ranked, college recreational soccer player and started her soccer journey right here in Tampa at Plant High School. Abby recently returned from a 5 month leave of absence to do some awesome things with SomosHermanos.org in Guatemala. Vein911 is very proud of her!
NICOLETTE CROSBY, B.S.
Lead Medical Assistant
Nikki is excited to be part of your Tampa Vein911 vein-care experience. She provides you personal care and assistance before, during and after your evaluation and treatment. Nikki could have attended medical school, but has chosen to be a Physician Assistant (PA) and will be starting her PA educational journey in 2018. A native of Treasure Island, Nikki enjoys yoga, travel and mission trips to South America.
SARAH LOWE, B.S., M.S.
Sarah is a future Physician Assistant who recently completed a Master of Science in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida. Sarah’s goal is Physician Assistant school and she comes to us with significant medical office and patient care experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science degree from the Florida State University. Sarah was a research assistant at FSU for three years, and coordinated many fundraisers benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities and the ALS Association during her time there. A native of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Sarah enjoys taking her dog to the beach, painting and drawing, and spending time with friends.
Dayanna Infante, B.S.
Dayanna earned a Associate’s degree in Medical Assistant from Dade Medical College in Miami, Florida and she will be seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has 3 years of previous experience in Vein Care in Miami, Florida. She is a native from Cuba and she enjoys traveling, music, dancing, food and spending time with her doggy, family and friends.
Yarileeza Garcia, B.S.
Yari graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and, during her time there, she was a research assistant for 3 years and taught health education at Boston Public Schools. She is now pursuing a Master of Science in Medical Sciences Degree at the University of South Florida. Yari is a Tampa native and she enjoys spending time with friends and dog sitting.
KAREN GONZALEZ PITTMAN, M.ED.
Vice-President of Public Affairs
Karen is dedicated to venous disease education and outreach and has actively participated at the Public Education Advisory Committee of the American College of Phlebology. She is available to meet or speak with individuals and organizations looking for credible, state-of-the-art information about vein disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Karen is a third-generation Tampa resident and enthusiastic Vein911 patient. Karen is Past President of the Hillsborough County Medical Association Alliance and has served on the Florida Medical Association Alliance Board of Directors, and also Board of Directors, Florida Medical Association Political Action Committee.
ONDINA FLORES PARASCANDOLO, B.S.
Manager & Administrative Director
Dina is a seasoned and experienced customer service and management professional. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Dina has over 25 years of medical practice management experience and came to us from a medical and cosmetic Ophthalmology practice. Vein911 is proud to have Dina at the helm of our office, culture and brand. Dina and her husband enjoy performance automobiles.
SARA CORREA, B.A.
Patient Relations Specialist & Patient Advocate
Sara is bright, capable and spirited and is our excellent “Director of First Impressions”. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Communication with a focus on public advocacy. Sara now advocates for our Vein911 patients and she brings a deep customer service experience. Originally from Colombia, South America, Sara serves as our Spanish translator. Sara enjoys movies and naps with her chihuahua.
Patient Relations Specialist
Asia is months from receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the University of South Florida with a double concentration in Biological Health Science and Health Management. She is completing her degree a semester earlier than the program’s anticipated date and also graduated from high school in only 3 years. Asia is very driven and always strives to go above and beyond what may be conventional. She will be soon pursuing a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. Asia’s goal is to become a healthcare CEO and Vein911 has no doubt she will succeed. She has deep customer service experience and prides herself on exceeding the expectations of our Vein911 patients. Asia enjoys binge watching TV series, traveling, eating cookies and French fries.
Insurance Authorization Specialist & Patient Relations Assistant
Jane serves our patients by expertly navigating authorization and billing matters. She has broad medical office experience and attended the University of South Florida. Jane is a hard worker and a pleasure to have in our office. Jane enjoys FSU Seminole football and the beach.
