Dr. Chris Pittman has over 25 years of experience performing minimally invasive, image guided surgery – Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is a formally educated venous disease expert dedicated to the treatment of total body vein disease using minimally invasive, image guided techniques. Dr. Pittman is Board Certified in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology, and Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.

Dr. Pittman is a proud member, and also serves on the Board of Directors, of the American College of Phlebology which is the premiere association for physicians working in the field of phlebology in the United States. Dr. Pittman is a contributing author to “Healthy Veins . . . Healthy Legs: A Patient’s Guide to Phlebology”, a 2012 publication of the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Marlin Schul is the President of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society — the largest US medical organization devoted to venous disorders. He is Fellow of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and Distinguished Fellow of the American Venous Forum. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and raised in Northeast Indiana before attending Indiana University to study Nuclear Medicine and Chemistry. Dr. Schul graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1992. He is Board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (EM) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. He transitioned from EM to the vein world in after training with the largest group of physicians specializing in the nonsurgical management of venous disorders. Dr. Schul opened his own center in Lafayette, Indiana and has been providing care to patients with venous disorders, leg ulcers, and blood clots.

Dr. Schul has published over a dozen peer-reviewed articles, including original research where no previous evidence existed. In joining the Vein911 team, he brings extensive experience in managing varicose and spider veins, venous leg ulcers, and patients with clotting disorders. Dr. Schul has been performing image guided chemical ablation, thermal ablation (Laser and Radiofrequency), as well as microphlebectomy for over 15 years. Dr. Schul was the first in the United States to use Varithena foam after it became commercially available in 2014.

Angela is a Tampa Bay area native who graduated from the University of South Florida, summa cum laude, with a Bachelors of Health Science degree where she was a member of the Arts & Sciences Honors Society and won the University of South Florida Health Sciences Outstanding Student Award (Valedictorian). Angela earned a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, with Highest Honors. Angela brings a conceptual vision to Vein911 understanding both the cosmetic and medical aspect of your vein-improvement journey. Angela loves boating and spending time with her family and friends. Angela is dedicated to the superior care of each and every patient she meets and is thrilled to be a part of the Vein911 team.

Amber is a “best in class” Tampa vein care specialist. Amber is a Tampa native and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Health Science degree from the University of Florida. She earned a Master of Medical Science degree, summa cum laude, at Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant Program and was also recognized with the Dean’s Award for highest class GPA and induction into both Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants and Alpha Eta Honor Society for Allied Health Professionals. Amber passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam in the 90th percentile and has extensive post-graduate training in dermatology. Amber combines her many years of dermatology experience with her expert knowledge of vein disorders to provide the best possible care & experience to the patients of Vein911.

Victoria Ramos | Medical Assistant

Victoria graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. Her goal is to attend Physician Assistant school and further her medical career. Victoria dedicated her undergraduate years to a student-run nonprofit called Camp Kesem, which supports children who are dealing with issues related to partners with cancer. She has also traveled to Panama and Haiti on medical mission trips to help in underserved communities. Victoria is a third-generation Tampa resident and enjoys traveling, the great outdoors, and spending time with her amazing golden retriever.

As Director of Imaging, Jill Blickensdorf manages the entire ultrasound process at Vein911 including development of protocols, execution of ultrasound exams, and the review of patient results. Jill has over 5 years’ experience as a Registered Vascular Specialist with subspecialization in venous ultrasound & ultrasound-guided procedures. She is a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, enjoys country music concerts, Cowboy football, being outside, and spending time with family. Jill graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Health Promotion and the American Institute with a B.S. in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cum Laude with an emphasis on vascular ultrasound.

Angie has over 17 years of experience working in the field of venous medicine. Angie graduated from Ultrasound Diagnostic School as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with a CVT certification. Angie has a significant amount of experience in vein treatment concepts and procedures and specializes in conducting ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, duplex ultrasound, superficial and deep vein system scans, as well as mapping. Angie strives to provide outstanding patient care with every interaction she has with her patients. Angie resides in Lithia and is originally from Chicago. She loves spending time with her two children, Isabella and Dominic.

Dayanna earned an Associate of Science degree in Medical Assisting from Dade Medical College in Miami, Florida and she is seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She has many years of previous experience in Vein Care in Miami, Florida. She is a native of Cuba and she enjoys traveling, music, dancing, food and spending time with her doggy, family and friends.

She previously worked as a Medical Assistant in Dermatology in West Palm Beach. After graduating she plans on attending medical school. Nafia lived in New York for 9 years, but considers West Palm Beach home. She enjoys traveling, working out, and volunteering at Tampa Bay Street Medicine Clinic to provide medical care to the homeless. Nafia is a first generation born American.

Maddi graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. During her undergraduate years she was involved in an organization called Dream Team which focused on children in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU. She participated in research studying the impact of select nutrients, fiber, and probiotics on intestinal and immune health. After work, you can find Maddi in a SOHO cycling class or at Publix shopping for her fun, healthy meal ideas.

During college, she spent time volunteering with Ronald McDonald House Charities, dance marathon, and attended a Medlife medical mission trip to Nicaragua. Her goal is to attend Physician Assistant school. Libby is a Tampa Bay area native who loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and travelling.

Originally from Connecticut, Matt has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1998 and is an avid Tampa Bay sports fan.

Stachyse is an aspiring physician with two Bachelors of Science degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Cell and Molecular Biology, cum laude, from the University of South Florida (USF). A passionate native of Haiti, she is a lifetime member of Fanm Kreyol, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded at USF, striving to empower Haitian women through community enrichment and civic engagement. She has completed several mission trips to a Haitian orphanage and is actively involved in an organization that develops inclusive economic opportunities for women and girls living with disabilities and another that assists recent graduate students with internships and work opportunities throughout Haiti. Stachyse enjoys music, dancing, travelling, cooking, and spending time with her significant other, family and friends.

Karen is dedicated to venous disease education and outreach and has actively participated at the Public Education Advisory Committee of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society. She is available to meet or speak with individuals and organizations looking for credible, state-of-the-art information about vein disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Karen is a third-generation Tampa resident and enthusiastic Vein911 patient. Karen is Past President of the Hillsborough County Medical Association Alliance and has served on the Board of Directors of both the Florida Medical Association Alliance and the Florida Medical Association Political Action Committee. Karen is a proud member of the USF Foundation’s Women in Leadership & Philanthropy.
